Having a bar-sunroom combo off of the master bedroom is a genius move. It places the area solidly in the “adults only” zone, making entertainment or early morning reading a bit more official. The owners of this Sandy Springs home needed a transitional space that would allow for small social events (she’s a wine rep) to flow easily into their backyard. This room serves that dual purpose nicely with its ample natural light, and exterior access too.

“We wanted this space to feel fresh and new; less nostalgic and more contemporary,” said Jessica. This was achieved with nuanced details. A portrait - thinly framed; a cowhide rug layered over sisal; a funky llama figurine. In the bar nook, even the trim was painted green. Custom pillows were added to the sofa to tie in the cool, moody colors of the bar. The bar cart, found at Kudzu and Company holds delicate, vintage goblets the owner picked up years ago.
